it's a rather wintry day.

as pretty as the snow is, i'll have to admit i'm the worst when it comes to dressing for the winter. i'm definitely a fall/spring dresser; i like sweaters and tights and layering, but i'm not very good at layering for winter! someone should teach me... basically i take off my big coat right before the hubs snaps my pics! haha.

because i kinda look crazy standing in the snow in an outfit like this. haha.

bracelet: c/o yunikelley designs // watch: kohl's // spike bracelet: via ebay

sweater/necklace/tights: forever21
skirt: target
shoes: h&m, tokyo

have you guys started school?! I hope it's been a good couple of days so far! my classes seem interesting, but a lot of work... but such is life right?

also, don't forget that the PAVE LINK BRACELET giveaway sponsored by Candylinx ends in less than a week! (Sidenote: rafflecopter is glitching on internet explorer- no surprise- so please use google chrome if you can't see the rafflecopter widget!!!!)

i love this outfit.
you look adorable.
and i am totally all about the layering.
i mean i always have my coat, but layering is so important.
i am even able to avoid having a massive coat because of it.
girl i will teach you the ways.
however, i'm still learning.
and classes are crazy! ahh!

i love this outfit rachel, you look so pretty! i don't have any good advice because i do the exact same thing! i think if you invested in lots of coats and sweaters it would be easy but i mean who has that kind of cash lying around right? ;p

I wouldn't know how to dress for winter because I live in LA. I think I'd freeze to death haha, but the snow is so pretty!

I'm canadian, so winter is a common reality here and I still have trouble dressing for the cold. Love this outfit.
I do love snow pictures though. you look great!

I never feel like dressing appropriately for winter! But then, like you, I do freeze during winter outfit photos! :P

I love the polka dots with that green skirt! And I'm pretty terrible at layering for winter, too. But hey, that's what coats are *for*!
